I do not think it matters if you install drainfield into a flood plain, presuming you have viable soils there. I believe each County Department of Environmental Health is stand-alone and answers only to the county. Is there a rule on this? In order to perform a perc test, one must be a surveyor, engineer, soil scientist, or architect. We have a survey with full GPS coordinates and just recently had important corners flagged. Is this a practice that is used in Tn?
