The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program is a lottery-funded scholarship that rewards Florida high school graduates who demonstrate high academic achievement and are enrolled in an eligible public or private post-secondary educational institution within three years of high school graduation. If you're concerned that your GPA isn't high enough to win the FAS scholarshipthe most competitive of the awards you can set a more reasonable goal by aiming for the FMS, GSV, or GSC scholarships. This is the most competitive Bright Futures scholarship and the most generous one. The assigned budget is based on the housing selection from the student Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
