The attraction is based on the Mummy movie franchise, and more specifically, the 1999 movie The Mummy starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. It varies by attraction. Want to take a splash? ! I can assure you that Expedition Everest does many wild and crazy things, but it does not go upside down. The walls of the queue are covered in elaborate Egyptian hieroglyphics.
There are portions of Men In Black ride that spin. In Florida's version, the story is that a new Mummy film is being filmed inside the park, but due to the use of actual Egyptian artifacts in the set, Imhotep is brought to life for real. Without that these newer rides would be a no go for me.
