Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) has done much good, teaching people the Bible. I have time to get home and unwind. God teaches us in Leviticus that there MUST be a difference between that which is holy and that which is unholy! They give lip service to seeking the Lord in prayer, but their decisions and direction are formed from their numerous surveys of the population NOT attending their classes. So far in the study of ppl, Ive not come across any man- centric inclinations. I also learned from reading Miss Johnson's biography, Created for Commitment (p. 224), that her aim from the beginning was to establish an ecumenical Bible study. Now I teach a class Bible for Dummies which attracts people who were just like me before I started studying the word. He is faithful and is forgiving. Im now an online leader, I see how those that love the Word and love their loved ones from afar can study together.

I have been with BSF for two years and they are totally Biblical, not legalistic. God-fearing men and women when lies are sown. I received an email about the changes Bible Study Fellowship has made this year and the email was wondering why BSF didnt ask for feedback on the changes at the end of this year. Thank you for pointing this out. I was frustrated and disappointed. I, too, have noticed the big changes in the format, especially in our groups where there is now less emphasis on actually discussing scriptures and more on relating our experiences. I had to disagree with some things but overall, I love the notes and lectures and especially meeting people from other denominations who really love the Lord. bringing others to Christ? James Montgomery Boice wrote the Romans study who was a Calvinist; that should be enough to stay away from BSF; if you do the research, Miss Johnson who started the study, in her own words, said it was an Ecumenical Gathering, that in itself is a huge problem.
