Some of thosehave fallen by the wayside over the years, but today around three-quarters still meet regularly, accommodating more than a quarter of a million members in this country alone. 
The Masonic Order of the Bath, originally called the Wahoo Band is a "fun" Degree open to all Master Masons. The Square and Compasses remains a popular symbol on Masonic rings. For all but the first seven of those three hundred years, there has been at least one Lodge of Bath Freemasons meeting in the City. The first Band formed in June 21st, 1921, in Red Bank, NJ, by 9 Brothers from Mystic Brotherhood 
Every Masonic lodge, therefore, is symbolically the Temple for the duration of the degree and possesses ritual objects representing the architecture of the Temple. Altogether, these bodies accommodate overfour hundred members from Bath and surrounding towns and villages. Those three Lodges, Royal Cumberland Lodge (formed in 1732), Royal Sussex Lodge (1812)and the Lodge of Honour (1825), still meet here today. Among the most prominent are replicas of the pillars Boaz and Jachin through which every initiate has to pass.
